A total of 17 tons of equipment and medical supplies from Belarus arrived this Friday at the Maiquetía Simón Bolívar International Airport in La Guaira state.
The shipment was received by the People’s Power Minister for Foreign Relations, Félix Plasencia, who, accompanied by the Vice Minister for Europe, Daniela Rodríguez, stressed that this action “confirms a route of solidarity meeting between two countries that work for peace and the dignity of life of their fellow citizens.
Plasencia assured that the Venezuelan people can “be confident in the efforts of the National Government to guarantee prevention and health, through the necessary medicines and medical equipment so that we come out victorious from this pandemic”.
He highlighted the cooperative relations with the European nation, which have been strengthened with the arrival of the Bolivarian Revolution and extended to the fields of mining, gastronomy and agriculture.
For his part, the Belarusian ambassador to Venezuela, Andrei Molchan, pointed out that both countries maintain a cooperation route, while expressing the intention to consolidate policies in the area of trade, for mutual benefit.
