The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, said on Tuesday, after the attempted coup d’ etat promoted by a small group of military personnel stationed at the Altamira Highway Distributor in Caracas, that the country is in complete calm.
“All of Venezuela is in absolute calm, there is no single demonstration in any other military detachment in the country”, said Cabello after talking with the heads of the ZODI and REDI.
During a telephone contact with Venezolana de Televisión, the president of the National Constituent Assembly also assured that this unconstitutional action is repudiated by the majority of the Venezuelan people.
