Despite repeated attempts by the opposition to weaken the National Government and get, through the path of illegality, the ousting of President Nicolas Maduro, the skillful and firm policy of the Bolivarian diplomacy of peace, achieved a victory again in the 46th General Assembly of the Organization of American States.
“We must be proud of the victory achieved in the Dominican Republic. During his “José Vicente Hoy” (José Vicente Today) program, he also noted that the opposition failed to manage their victory in the last parliamentary elections on 6 December 2015. “They went to their heads and their arrogance overflowed to such an extent that its leaders felt that they had conquered something more than the majority in the National Assembly”.
The expert considered that the attitude by the MUD “could not be more deplorable, and they have always been in search of defeats”. “With the dumbness that characterizes them, the opposition moved the polarization to the OAS,” he said.
Finally, Rangel said that the performance of the Venezuelan diplomacy “has put Luis Almagro and the representatives of the opposition against the wall”, adding that the dialogue initiative by the United States Secretary of State, John Kerry, “left the sepoy opposition stupefied”.
