The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, emphasized on Monday that the visit from his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, marks a new stage in the relations between both nations.
The national leader said that «Turkey and Venezuela have a great history to build», and so he pledged to fully comply with the agreements signed between both countries:
«We have signed agreements to continue advancing in the economic, commercial, scientific, military, mining, educational, cultural development, we have built a map, we have advanced and what is coming is better. We have seen the development of our relationship from 2025 to 2030», he said.
He affirmed that Venezuela is open to Turkish investment in all its areas: «This is what we have signed, we have agreed, and so we announce, Turkish investments in oil production, in refining, in petrochemical, Turkish investments to produce gold, coltan, diamond, iron, aluminum, to develop tourism and more».
