The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, in an act of reaffirmation of national security, during the presidential greeting to the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), declared that the fight against criminal gangs and drug traffickers operating from Colombia is a daily and constant struggle.
In his speech, the Commander in Chief highlighted the work of the officers of the Bolivarian Military Aviation, who detected a drug trafficking incursion in the northwest of the coasts of Falcón state.
He indicated that, in record time and in strict adherence to the law and the Constitution, the incursion was acted upon and neutralized.
President Maduro also referred to the fight against illegal mining, which seriously affects the country’s national parks and rivers.
He denounced that criminal groups, such as the Tren de Aragua and Tren de los Llanos, are imperial instruments armed by the fascist opposition sector, with the aim of taking territorial control of vital states in the center and West-center of Venezuela:
«Permanent patrolling is essential to safeguard the strategic objectives of the Nation and protect our Homeland from all threats,» he emphasized.
Likewise, the President was optimistic about the achievements made by the Bolivarian National Armed Forces during 2024:
«We once again defeated perfidy, division, conspiracy and imperialism in our free territory. This has been a year of victory, the best tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for a better future,» he stressed.
Ayacucho Plan:
In a key announcement, the head of state revealed that he recently signed the “Integral Military Development Plan,” also known as the Ayacucho Plan, with a six-year horizon.
He called on all military units to develop this project with creativity, initiative and honor, thus establishing the foundations for development towards 2025-2030.
This plan will be part of the Seven Transformations (7T) that the National Assembly will receive from President Nicolás Maduro on January 10, for subsequent consideration as an organic law of the Republic.
Finally, he urged generals, admirals, soldiers and female soldiers to advance on all battle fronts, with a clear focus on the national goal of achieving times of prosperity and maximum social happiness.
He emphasized that the key to progress lies in one’s own effort:
“Let us not expect anything from others, but from ourselves,” concluded President Maduro.
