Representatives of the organizations with political ends, technicians of the National Electoral Council (CNE) and external examiners, verified this Monday, November 12, the configuration files of the voting machines that will be used in the municipal elections on December 9.
The review concluded with the signing of the audit report, which was validated by the technicians of the political organizations and officials of the General Directorate of Information Technology and the National Office of Political Participation of the electoral body.
The closing act was signed by the representatives of the applicant organizations United Socialist Party of Venezuela (Psuv), Avanzada Progresista (AP), Movimiento al Socialismo (MAS), , Organización Renovadora Auténtica (ORA), Partido Comunista de Venezuela (PCV), Patria Para Todos (PPT), Esperanza por el Cambio (ElCambio), Unidad Popular Venezolana (UPV), and La Fuerza del Cambio (FDC). A representative of the National Electoral Observation Network-Assembly of Education was also present.
PROCEDURES:
Were certified the configuration files of the machine, which allow to perform functions such as configuration report, opening and closing report of the activity, options menu, voting exercise and duration of the suffrage.
It was also verified the configuration of the Integrated Authentication System (SAI) file, a tool that certifies the identity of the voters before the machine and allows interaction from the moment the identity card number is entered and the footprint is placed on the biometric identification system,
until the activation of the vote.
The activity, which took place at the CNE Data Center in Plaza Caracas, was broadcast live, via the Internet, through CNE TV, with the general production of the General Directorate of Information and Communication of the Electoral Power.
