Psuv demands the US to cease attacks against Venezuela

The United Socialist Party of Venezuela (Psuv) demanded the government of the United States (USA) to cease its harassment and economic blockade against Venezuela, in order to have access to food and medicines for the Venezuelans:
“We demand the United States to respect our people, the Constitution and what is enshrined in it, and that our people voted on May 20, 2018”, said Cabello at a press conference from La Guaira.
He said that this political organization is fully incorporated in the process of collecting signatures that will be taken to the General Secretariat of the United Nations Organization (UN) as a sign of rejection and protests to the decisions against the country by the US president, Donald Trump
Parliamentary elections:
Cabello said that PSUV is prepared to participate in parliamentary elections, when convened by the National Constituent Assembly (ANC):
“There will be elections of the National Assembly, sooner than they think. For that we are preparing ourselves (…) We are obliged to prepare our teams to do so. We are preparing for the elections. If you ask the Chavista people, “when do you want elections?” They will tell you: “tomorrow”. The people want them soon. By December 31 there will be a new parliament already”, he said.
Given the possibility of an advance of legislative elections, the socialist leader stressed that the date will be determined by the ANC, which “is qualified to set that election at any time, even before 2020”.
