GMVV has built 2 million 282,935 homes in the last seven years

The Great Mission Housing Venezuela (GMVV) has built and delivered 22,282,935 roofs throughout the country, during the last seven years.

This was reported by the Minister for Habitat and Housing, Ildemaro Villarroel, who at the 40th meeting of the National Superior Housing and Habitat Organism also indicated that 1,035,233 property titles have been granted, while the Mission Barrio Nuevo, Barrio Tricolor (New Neighborhood, Tricolor Neighborhood) has rehabilitated 972,634 houses throughout the national territory.

In this regard, he announced that new guidelines on housing will be established, as well as offering historical milestones that GMVV has achieved in recent years.

Villaroel also noted that the activation of the rental plan of the GMVV for students will be launched. “The GMVV has the great challenge of reactivating the rental sector, in which formal relations are promoted that stimulate who has a home to be rented to students,” he said.

He explained that through the National Superintendence of Housing Leases (Sunavi), young people “who meet the requirements for rent, will commit to cancel lease fees”.
As for the Congress of the Living Venezuelans, which aims to capture the needs of the people to give an immediate response to the problems and strengthen popular power in the urbanism of the Great Housing Mission Venezuela, the minister reported that it will be reprogrammed for the coming Friday, November 16.
