Delcy Rodríguez: Automotive registry started on a good foot

Regarding the activation of the National Transportation Census through the Patria platform, the Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, offered details on the registration process of the program aimed at protecting the workers of the wheel and any citizen who owns an automotive vehicle:

In statements to the press, the high official explained that this census seeks to regularize and reorder the entire automotive fleet that exists in Venezuela.

“One of its main objectives will be to attack the contraband mafias that take Venezuelan fuel”, she said.

As of Friday, August 3, the Bolívar squares of the national territory will be enabled to register in the face-to-face modality and will be in charge of promoters of the Somos Venezuela Movement.

The meeting with the media, which took place at the headquarters of the Vice Presidency of the Republic, located in Caracas, is attended by the Minister of People’s Power for Transport, Hipólito Abreu.

On July 25, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, signed a decree to activate the registration of the vehicle fleet in public and private modes.
