The Sectoral Vice President for Political Sovereignty, Security and Peace, and Minister of People’s Power for Defense, General in Chief Vladimir Padrino López, urged the men and women of the sea to continue conserving and maintaining the dignity of their naval whiteness to continue defending sovereignty, the territorial integrity and independence of the country.
During his speech at the commemorative events of the 235th anniversary of the birth of the Liberator Simón Bolívar and Day of the Bolivarian Navy, he said: “Bolívar’s legacy is now more valid than ever in its purpose”.
“What kind of Father of the Homeland do we have. Envied by the European elites, the right wing of this continent envied the talent of Simón Bolívar”, said Padrino.
