Maduro congratulates the Nicaraguan people on the anniversary of the Sandinista Revolution

This Thursday marks the 39th anniversary of the triumph of the Sandinista Popular Revolution, a struggle led by the Sandinista National Liberation Front and that on July 19, 1979, allowed the revolutionaries to rise to power with the overthrow of the Somoza family dictatorship.

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, through a message on his Twitter account, congratulated the heroic Nicaraguan people who 39 years ago were present in the Plaza de la República, in Managua, waving red and black flags, to accompany the entrance of the FSLN.
