Imperialism seeks an armed confrontation between Colombia and Venezuela

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, and FANB’s commander-in-chief, Nicolás Maduro, led the Command Transmission of the Components of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and the Bolivarian Military Aviation, from Fort Tiuna, in Caracas.

He denounced to the institution the envy that Colombia has for their loyalty to the people and the Bolivarian Revolution, while warning about the interventionist plans that imperialism prepares on the borders with Venezuela to harm the Homeland of Bolívar:

“The US imperialism is preparing provocations on the border and beyond to take Colombia and Venezuela to a state of armed confrontation (…) the Colombian oligarchy has been infiltrating paramilitary groups in Venezuela to try to escalate a wave of violence in our territory. Maximum alert to the FANB with the false positives of the criminal and envious oligarchy that from Bogota complies with the orders from Washington”, denounced.

“As they envy from Bogota and the rancid, murderous criminal Colombian oligarchy, as they envy the FANB, as they envy the honor, the moral strength, the rebellion that our FANB has against imperialism (…) I have seen their envy of Chávez , I have seen their envy of me”, he said.

The Head of State showed his confidence in the civic-military union to counteract the violent plans against Venezuela. He said that the country belongs to Venezuelans and not to imperial currents that seek to destabilize the revolutionary process.

“Our country dreams of a great hope for the times to come, can work its destiny in the midst of difficulties having the faith that Venezuela will be better and better, and that Venezuela belongs to us Venezuelan men and women”, he said.
