More than 150 international companions will attend the May-20 elections

More than 150 people, including academics, politicians, intellectuals, journalists, parliamentarians, special guests, non-governmental organizations, among others, will serve as international chaplains in the May 20 elections, as reported on Thursday the president of the National Electoral Council (CNE), Tibisay Lucena.

During the installation of the international accompaniment plan that was held at the CNE headquarters in Caracas, the rector highlighted that these personalities come from Latin American countries, the Caribbean, Europe, Asia, Africa and North America.

“We express our deep gratitude to this large group of people from all over the world who have come to see our electoral process this Sunday, May 20,” said Lucena.

During the election day, the CNE will have 14,580 voting center coordinators, 33,867 integral system operators, 3,927 alternates of integral system operators and 4,641 support technicians available to deal with any eventuality quickly and efficiently.
