Maduro urges Israel to stop massacre of Palestinian people

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, expressed his solidarity with the Palestinian people on Wednesday after a bloody journey in Gaza that left more than 60 people dead.

“My solidarity with the Palestinian and Muslim people, my repudiation of the Gaza massacre, it is the Jewish people that can stop this”, said the President.

During a press conference from Bolívar state, he added that it is “painful” to see the complicit silence in the world’s leaders and media.

The Head of State pointed out that: “Sooner rather than later, Palestine will be a free people, it deserves to be a land of peace”.

He also stressed that the world can not make silence before these acts, so the Bolivarian Government will send a delegate as the Presidency of the Non-Aligned Countries movement to the Istanbul meeting in Turkey “to take the voice of solidarity and our cry of warning”.
