COVID: Venezuela registered a slight decrease in cases in the last 24 hours

980 cases of Covid-19 were registered this Monday, April 26, 2021 in Venezuela. The Presidential Commission for the Prevention and Control of the Pandemic, reported that 7 of those cases are imported and the rest are community transmissions.

Yaracuy, Miranda and Caracas are the entities with the highest number of cases, 221, 194 and 161 respectively; 18 Venezuelans, between 31 and 89 years of age, sadly died in Venezuela, during the last 24 hours, bringing the figure to 2,065.

The general statistics of the day, in terms of the total number of infections by coronavirus is 192,498, compared to 175,242 patients recovered, and the figures of active cases reached 15,191.
