Venezuela and Russia strengthen judicial cooperation

The Chairman of the Supreme Court of Justice, Maikel Moreno, signed with his counterpart of the Russian Federation, Viacheslav Lébedev, an understanding memorandum “to strengthen and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and judicial cooperation.”

Moreno held a meeting with Viacheslav Lébedev, with whom he evaluated high-level exchange activities between both countries, as well as the implementation of a mechanism for the exchange of information.

The President of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation said, on the other hand, that this visit represents progress in the approach that both brother nations have been promoting for years.

The Venezuelan delegation that participated in the activity was formed by the president of the Civil Cassation Chamber of the TSJ, Judge Yván Darío Bastardo; the executive director of the Judiciary, Dr. Jesse Arias; and the ambassador of Venezuela in the Russian Federation, Carlos Faría.
