Venezuelan Chancellor Jorge Arreaza arrived on the island of Dominica on Wednesday as part of his tour through Latin America and the Caribbean to strengthen the mechanisms of regional integration.
This is the eighth nation that the Venezuelan Foreign Minister visits since February 1, when he began his journey in Cuba.
Then, he moved to Belize, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, Haiti, Suriname and Nicaragua, where he met with representatives of the governments of these countries to review the state of relations with Venezuela.
In addition, it has reviewed mechanisms to promote bodies such as the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) and the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our Americas (ALBA), in the face of the geopolitical landscape promoted by the United States on the continent.
