The Chairwoman of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC), Delcy Rodríguez, met with the Foreign Minister of Palestine, Riad Malki, and ratified the relations of brotherhood between both countries.
Rodríguez explained to the highest representative of Palestinian diplomacy the importance of the convocation of the Constituent Power and the installation of the ANC for peace in the country.
She reported they talked about the global response in support of Palestine and in rejection of the decision of the US Government. to declare Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
“East Jerusalem is the capital of the State of Palestine, and Venezuela’s position has been very clear of what a decision of this nature means, which seeks to fan and put more fire into a conflict, instead of advocating a dialogue that the possibility of the existence of two states and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to their territory”, she emphasized.
She rejected the permanent aggression of Israel towards the Palestinian people, systematically violating their human rights.
“You know you can always count on the people of Venezuela,” reaffirmed the president of the Original Constituent Power.

The Chancellor of Palestine, Riad Malki, said that both countries speak, organize, plan and work together to face the same challenge.
“We feel great pride in having that relationship of brotherhood that exists between Venezuela and Palestine,” he reiterated, adding that his visit is to consolidate this relationship.
