Law of Agreed prices is an instance of dialogue between productive sectors of the country

The Chairwoman of the National Constituent Assembly, Delcy Rodríguez, asserted that the Law of agreed prices, approved by the plenipotentiary power, is an instance of dialogue and understanding among all the productive sectors of the country.

“It is mandatory compliance among all sectors that participated. This is also based on a list of prioritized products by the national executive and that should be stimulated to what has been produced in Venezuela (…) we are all called upon to join our efforts in respecting the agreed prices (…) since they have reached agreements on 15 items out of the 50 prioritized ones, and we will move forward”, she said.

Rodríguez informed that before the end of the current year, the ANC will approve the 8 constitutional laws presented by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro in September.

“Before the end of the year, the National Constituent Assembly will have approved the 8 economic laws that you presented before the Plenipotentiary Constituent Assembly so that we can act in a single direction that is the protection of the people of Venezuela”, she said.

He stressed that thanks to the work of the Bolivarian Government with the ANC there are mechanisms such as 0800-lo-justo, in order to issue denounces with irregularities in compliance with the prices agreed.

The Chairwoman of the plenipotentiary body added that the role of the organized people and the communes along with the CLAP will be fundamental for the fulfillment of this law.

“This will be accompanied by a control system where the communes and the organized people will have a leading role in the defense of the economy at a very small level (…) we would have a system for oversight and control,” she said.
