The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reaffirmed this Sunday that Venezuela is preparing for a new electoral journey, with all the preventive sanitary and biosecurity measures against Covid-19.
«A great democratic party to be held with all preventive sanitary and biosafety measures for the people to choose a new National Assembly (AN) that is at the service of the Homeland», reported the Head of State through his official accounts in social networks.
On June 30, the National President urged the revolutionary forces to work to conform the unitary candidacies with the Great Patriotic Pole and the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) to recover once and for all the National Parliament that, in his opinion, is collapsed, destroyed and currently worthless.
For her part, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, stressed this Saturday July 11, that with the installation of the National Logistics Committee for the upcoming parliamentary elections on December 6, is guaranteed the due inter-institutional cooperation between the Electoral Power and the Executive, as established by the Organic Law of Electoral Processes.
She stressed that once again the Venezuelan people will have the opportunity to go to the electoral polls to express their will, which in this case is to elect a new Legislative Power as contemplated within the constitutional times.
She urged the countries of the world to side with legality and with what the people of Venezuela chooses through its will, as opposed to imperial designs: «When the Venezuelans come to express their will through voting, that means a profound exercise of sovereignty», she emphasized.
