Poll! 59% of Venezuelans believe that elections contribute to peace

Venezuelan journalist José Vicente Rangel, released during his Sunday program a survey conducted by Hinterlaces, where it was evident that a 59 percent of Venezuelans believe that the Governors’ elections of October 15, as well as those of mayors planned for December 10, have contributed to the climate of peace and stability in the country.

He explained that only a 38 percent of respondents believe otherwise, according to what was published by Hinterlaces.

The study that was conducted between November 1 and 15, to 1,500 homes across the country, it also notes that a 77 percent of people considered “incorrect” the decision of some opposition parties not to participate in the upcoming electoral contest.

The poll showed that a 71% of citizens agree with the call to municipal elections held by the National Constituent Assembly (ANC).
