
This Sunday, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela registered a total of 1,202 new cases of Covid-19, that were detected by the Venezuelan health authorities, while the recovery rate remains at 91%, thanks to the free treatments guaranteed by the Bolivarian Government.
This was reported by the Minister of People’s Power for Health Carlos Alvarado, during the customary Sunday balance of the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of Covid-19.
In this sense, he assured that the community cases of the day were detected in 20 states: Yaracuy (212); Miranda (173); Zulia (133); Sucre (116); Caracas (103); Nueva Esparta (97); Apure (83); La Guaira (73); Merida (67); Bolivar (49); Carabobo (27); Cojedes (27); Guarico (16); Monagas (07); Aragua (05); Falcon (04); Tachira (04); Trujillo (03); Amazonas (02); Portuguesa (01).
Likewise, he regretted the death of 17 Venezuelans due to Covid-19, including the deputy for Falcón State, Henry Ventura.
Likewise, Minister Alvarado announced that in the report for the week that ended this Sunday, he registered a total of 8,549 new cases of Covid.19, which is equivalent to an average of 1,222 daily cases and 1,026 recovered per day.
On this, the head of the Health portfolio explained that the country remains on a high plateau with a weekly rate of 26 active cases per 100,000 inhabitants. “This week in relation to the previous week we had an increase of three percent of the cases. Last week we had 8,321 cases, and this week we have 8,541 cases”, he emphasized.
The report specifies that 10 territorial entities registered an increase in cases: Carabobo, Zulia, Nueva. Esparta, Sucre, Miranda, Apure, Falcón, Barinas, Guárico and Trujillo.
“This behavior shows us a movement of the wave towards the west. We have little variation in cases, the number is still high, we must begin to lower this plateau and this implies complying with the protection measures”, warned Alvarado.
In addition, I detail that the entities with the highest weekly incidence rate are: Yaracuy (153); La Guaira (96); Nueva Esparta (62); Carabobo: (56); Sucre (52); Caracas (34); Apure (33); Falcon (31); Cojedes (28).
For her part, the Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Delcy Rodríguez indicated that «we have started updating workshops on the different treatments that have been coming out, it is different from those applied a few months ago, this experience has allowed us to have new treatment schemes”.
