The vice president for the Economic Area, Tareck El Aissami, announced that in 57 days of the Economic Recovery, Growth and Prosperity Program, the Bolivarian Government has auctioned 60 million dollars through the DICOM currency purchase and sale system.
“A virtuous program of economic recovery with 10 strategies, structural lines that allow us to advance into a new productive situation, however, the ravages of the economic war and the different mechanisms that have been implemented to destabilize our financial system and our economy, still persist”, he complained.
This was reported from the Simón Bolívar Hall at Miraflores Palace, where he stressed that the financial blockade led by the United States Government is not only towards the public sector, but has also affected the private sector: “They have blocked (bank) accounts from the. Venezuelan private sector, the agro-industry and pharmaceutical laboratories (…) this is to realize how far the madness of imperialism gets”, he said.
