President Maduro asks to expand the Homeland Plan until 2030

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, asked the Executive Cabinet on Monday to install a strategic planning workshop to expand and update the Homeland Plan until 2030, for the development of the Nation.

“I commit to make a renewal, an update, a modernization of the Homeland Plan with a view to 2030, for us to do it together with the people, we will nurture from the truth of the regions, the great works that the country needs for its development of infrastructure, communications, economy, investments that must be made to ensure the development of large cities”, said the President during a plenary session of the Federal Council of Government.

The “Plan de la Patria” ( Homeland Plan) is a proposal written by Commander Hugo Chávez, leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, with the aim of expanding and consolidating socialism in Venezuela. This project sets goals between the 2013 and 2019 periods. The legal instrument became the Law of the Republic and is currently executed by President Nicolás Maduro.
