Elías Jaua: Dialogue is still the way to stabilize the country

Socialist leader Elías Jaua said on Sunday that the political leadership of the Bolivarian Revolution will remain on the path of dialogue to consolidate peace and guarantee stability to the people for work and development.

Jaua repudiated the position of the national and international right wing that insists on disowning the Venezuelan democratic process with the sole intention of encouraging destabilization in Venezuela and provoking an intervention.

“For us, dialogue remains a space to create working conditions, political, social, economic, coexistence for recognition, for development, without negotiating the sovereignty of the people,” said Jaua.

In his opinion, because the results are not favorable to them, the right wing shouts “fraud” despite acknowledging and validating all auditing processes to the electoral system, in a systematic behavior that has the pretense of muddying the democratic institutions of the State, a fact that attacks against the stability of the nation.

He further emphasized that the Venezuelan electoral system is widely auditable and that verification process made before, during and after the election is endorsed by all the political organizations that participate in it, in which are being measured with the same conditions, both the revolutionary candidates and the opposition candidates.

Finally, he said: “The one who accepts the rules of the game has to be consistent with it, and if you lost, then you lost, and the one who won has the right to have his victory acknowledged”.
