Venezuela advances against US maneuvers that try to destabilize the economy

In an act of unity and resistance, President Nicolás Maduro addressed the Assembly of Communards of the People’s Power, reaffirming his commitment to the Bolivarian Revolution and the defense of national sovereignty against the aggressions of the imperial powers and the betrayal of the sellout opposition.

In his speech, the head of state denounced the maneuvers of US imperialism that seek to dismantle the progress and dignity of the Venezuelan people.

Aggression of fascism and the surrender of sovereignty:

President Maduro described as «failures» the sectors of the Venezuelan right wing that have aligned themselves with the traitorous regime of Guyana, who is trying to usurp our territorial waters for the benefit of foreign corporations such as Exxon Mobil:

Venezuela denounces it and we will take all actions to stop its illegal pretensions,” he said, establishing a clear line of defense of our wealth and sovereignty.

People united against sanctions:

In a forceful message, the President stressed that “87% of Venezuelans reject these infamous sanctions,” pointing out the growing awareness of our people in the face of adversity.

This popular support becomes a bulwark to confront the coercive measures imposed from abroad, reaffirming that the fight for self-determination and social justice will not stop.

Activation of the Absolute Productive Independence Plan:

Faced with imperialist attacks, the president activated the Absolute Productive Independence Plan, designed to strengthen our national industry and reduce dependence on predatory multinationals:

Nothing and no one will stop us,” exclaimed the head of state, reaffirming the revolutionary commitment to build a self-sufficient country that guarantees the well-being of its people. Self-sufficiency is not just an economic goal; it is a battle cry against modern colonialism.

Attack on sovereignty:

The recent revocation of General License 41A by the United States Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), which will end on April 3, represents a direct attack on the Venezuelan economy and the sovereignty of our Nation.

This measure prohibits Chevron from paying taxes, royalties and dividends to the Petróleos de Venezuela S.A (PDVSA) company, while restricting the sale of oil and its derivatives exclusively to the United States, as well as preventing transactions with Venezuelan companies or those controlled by Russian entities:

We will not allow these imperialist thugs to steal what is ours,” warned the president.

President Nicolás Maduro recalled the legacy of our national heroes, who taught that “betrayal is the road to perdition. We will face these disturbances with firmness and determination. The construction of a sovereign future, based on social justice and equity, will only be possible in unity,” said the President.
