The Vice-President for the Economy Sector, Ramón Lobo, informed on Tuesday about the strategic action plan of the last quarter of 2017 designed jointly with the coordinators of the 15 Motors of the Bolivarian Economic Agenda (AEB), with the objective of countering the sanctions imposed by the US Government.
Lobo said that the measures adopted from this productive space give priority to the interests of the Venezuelan population.
“The meeting served for us to guide the action that we are going to have during the last months of this year, in order to face the financial and commercial blockade driven by the US Government”, he detailed from the Office of the Ministry of People’s Power Economy and Finances, where was held the meeting with the coordinators of each engine.
During the meeting was expressed the deep rejection of the aggressions by the Government in Washington, as well as solidarity with President Nicolás Maduro and the Venezuelan family. Likewise, the Ministers who make up the Vice-Presidency for the Economy Sector rejected the stateless and treacherous position of opposition leader Julio Borgues, who makes a lobby through several European countries with the intention of extending the trade embargo imposed against the country.
Among the decisions implemented from the AEB, the official detailed that they will continue the work that has been developed with the support to the production in the field, the factories and the commerce. “This with the intention of being able to empower the sector in its different areas for a greater re-impulse of the national productive apparatus”, he stressed.
The Minister of People’s Power for Economy and Finances also said that none of the aggressions dictated by the US empire with the pretension of “subjecting the Venezuelan family” could “corner the people through a financial blockade.”
Lobo urged the population with a nationalist sense to remain organized according to the revolutionary counter-offensive carried out by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro.
“Faced with this circumstance, we ratify today the need for the organization and unity of the people under the articulation to overcome these difficulties induced by the empire”, he said.
