Venezuela condemns terrorist attack in Iraq

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela condemned the terrorist attack that affected the southern city of Narisiyah, in Iraq.

Following, read the communiqué issued by the Ministry of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs.

COMMUNIQUÉ:

“The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expresses its most outright condemnation on the unjustifiable terrorist attack that occurred in the southern city of Nasiriyah in Iraq on September 14 this year, in which 50 people were killed and 87 seriously injured.

Likewise, the Bolivarian Government expresses its grief at human losses and shares the feeling of mourning that plagues the Iraqi Government and the people. We send a message of solidarity to the relatives of the victims of such a cruel attack.

Likewise, the Venezuelan Government calls for respect for the peace in which all peoples deserve to live, while drawing the attention of the international community to this repeated type of aggression, in which a defenseless civilian population dies and repeatedly inflicted on the peoples of the world. ”
