“Venezuela has the unyielding will of a people that, without any distinction of political position, wants to rescue the spirit of dialogue to frighten the demons that try to lead us into a civil war”.
This was stated on Thursday by the lawyer and Constituent María Alejandra Díaz, during her participation in the “Hablando se entiende la gente” (The people gets understood by speaking) program, broadcast by Radio Nacional de Venezuela (RNV), in which she said that the greatest achievement of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC) is to have achieved citizen peace, the right to mobility and rescuing normality in the streets.
“I believe that there are demonic forces that respond to the capitalist model, that are acting in the world to make a resettlement and to end humanity. To reduce it to its minimum expression in order to increase their profits, these forces see in Venezuela all the conditions to provide the resources to continue”, explained the lawyer.
In Diaz’s view, the ANC’s responsibility as a meeting space for all Venezuelans is fundamental to the country’s future, so as not to repeat the expressions of hate – never seen before in Venezuela – such as those promoted by the right wing in April and the subsequent months.
“The social wounds they caused (the right wing) were very deep, we must recover the values and recovery of the family”, she said.
