The opposition believes that by doing harm they will achieve political credit

Iris Varela, candidate for the National Constituent Assembly for Caracas, said on Thursday that “The opposition believes that by doing harm they will achieve political credit.”

“It is terrible what has made this political sector in the country” (..). That is why when the National Constituent Assembly is installed, the first thing to do is to apply justice, to those who have generated hatred and caused the deaths of many Venezuelans”, she said. Also added that: “At this moment we are the children of Hugo Chávez facing the fascist rush”.

She recalled that the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, has called on all sectors to participate in the National Constituent Assembly.

Finally, she called on the entire Venezuelan people to participate in the elections to be held on July 30 this year, when the members of the National Constituent Assembly will be chosen.

The information was provided during her participation in the program “Hablando se entiende la Gente” (“The people gets understood by talking”, also a slogan for the Constituent Assembly), broadcast by Radio Nacional de Venezuela.
