The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, assured this Tuesday that the Venezuelan opposition is still in time to stop the violence and hatred they have unleashed in the country.
“You are creating a monster. You are in time to stop the monster of violence and the monster of hatred, but while you stop your own monster, here is the people of Venezuela heading to the National Constituent Assembly”, said the Venezuelan Head of State during a ceremony with candidates for the Constituent Assembly.
In this regard, he said that the people have prevented the escalation of violence from rising to a higher level: “With the strength and the conscience of the people we have prevented it and we will continue preventing it”.
“Enough already, get your hatred back, get your violence back and start working, among all, in union, for a single country, for a single Venezuela, for the prosperity of everyone”, reiterated the National President.
In this sense, he manifested to the revolutionary militancy that it is time to make profound changes: “We have to go and start a new phase of profound and revolutionary changes”.
