The Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, stated that the Bolivarian Government’s diplomacy stopped the Venezuelan opposition’s maneuver from the Organization of American States (OAS) to complete an interventionist plan against the nation.
From Miraflores Palace, Rodríguez stated: “They closed with a golden snap their participation in the Organization of American States (OAS) … The great defeats in the OAS were the Venezuelan opposition”.
She added that: “Far from pressure and blackmail, the United States only drew 16 votes out of 34, a hecatomb for the US diplomacy, which had a three-day consecutive defeat against Venezuela”.
She denounced that the opposition allied with the United States had been in charge of obtaining votes under lies and manipulation, but “Once the countries realized it, they withdrew the support they had given, it was all a maneuver of lie and falsity “.
The statements by the Venezuelan diplomat came during her participation in the press conference held by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, with international media.
