On Wednesday, the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) issued protective measures for the inhabitants of the Baruta, Chacao, El Hatillo, Los Salias and Carrizal municipalities, in Miranda state, and Libertador, Alberto Adriani and Campos Elías, in Mérida state, in order to guarantee the human rights of its inhabitants affected by the violent actions of terrorist groups financed by the Venezuelan right wing.
The TSJ ordered 7 precautionary measures that must be complied with by the corresponding authorities, in order to guarantee the free transit, security and protection of its inhabitants.
Following, we invite you to know the measures spread by the highest court in the country.
1.- To carry out all actions and use all the necessary material and human resources within the framework of the Constitution and the law in order to avoid obstacles in the public way that impede the free transit of people and vehicles.
2.- To proceed to the immediate removal of the obstacles and maintain the roads and their surroundings free of barricades, residues, debris and any other element that can be used to obstruct the urban roads.
3.- To carry out its work of ordering the traffic of vehicles in order to guarantee an adequate and safe displacement by the public roads of the municipality.
4.- To protect the neighbors and inhabitants of the municipality by preventing meetings on the public thoroughfares that may hinder free transit, and prevent the consumption of alcoholic beverages and psychotropic substances.
5.- To ensure children and adolescents to fully exercise their rights and guarantees.
6.- To watch for the protection of the environment and environmental sanitation, urban and domiciliary cleaning.
7.- To rotate the necessary instructions in their respective police forces in order to actively comply with the provisions of articles 44 and 46 of the Organic Law of Police and the Bolivarian National Police. In this sense, they are ordered to deploy crime prevention within the scope of their competence.
