The Vice President of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, highlighted this Wednesday the importance of the National Constituent Assembly to ensure the peace of the nation.
“We are in times of the Constituent Assembly for peace,” said Cabello at the beginning of the 157th edition of his program “Con el Mazo Dando” (Hitting with the Hammer).
On the other hand, he celebrated the release of the Puerto Rican independence activist, Oscar López Rivera.
“We salute all the peoples of the world who are rising; Today the free peoples are partying, the Free Puerto Rico is in a party, Oscar Lopez Rivera was released today after this gentleman was imprisoned for 36 years by the will of imperialism, of which he spent 12 years absolutely isolated; They had condemned him first to 55 years and then to 15 more”, he said.
