The Strategic Operational Commander of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (CEOFANB), A / J Remigio Ceballos Ichaso, reported this Thursday that they are conducting military exercises with the reinforced infantry battalions at the Army Training Center, while explaining that they are also developing combat, fire and close air support exercises with the Bolivarian Military Aviation in different aircraft, to guarantee the defense, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country.
“The FANB is in permanent struggle and combat against armed, irregular, terrorist, paramilitary groups and criminal organizations that are in our territory”, he said.
In the 360 ° program, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), he stressed that the Bolivarian National Militia has more than 4,500,000 militiamen, 1,157 Integral Defense Groups, 14,383 Popular Bases of Integral Defense and more than 51,000 Popular Units deployed in 8 strategic regions and 28 Operational Zones, which allow guaranteeing territorial integrity:
“Our FANB will not rest in the permanent combat against any armed group that tries to tread our geographical space to seize our mineral resources, we will fight with force all those who intend to disturb the Peace of the Homeland”, he warned.
He recalled that a military exercise is also being carried out on the Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho highway, in connection with the celebration of the fifteenth anniversary of the Strategic Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (CEOFANB).
The actions are carried out at the height of Caiza Park where a counterattack is simulated with the participation of at least 2,000 men from the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, the Bolivarian National Militia and Citizen Security Organizations.
Regarding the parliamentary elections, he reported that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) is fulfilling the task for the deployment of the Republic Plan for the elections on December 6 and all that is the military defense and maintenance of internal order.
He stressed that Venezuela will obtain a successful election, where the country’s sovereignty will be ratified, while emphasizing that the FANB will guarantee compliance with article 5 of the Constitution, which is the full exercise of sovereignty that is being executed. through the Magna Carta and suffrage.
He explained that the Republic Plan will be deployed in the more than 14,000 voting centers in the country.
The Strategic Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces was created as the highest strategic planning and control body on September 26, 2005 by Commander Hugo Chávez Frías.
