The Chancellor of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodriguez, denounced that the Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Luis Almagro, intends to bestow international belligerence to the Venezuelan opposition. This action disowns the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela that establishes that the international politics of the country is a power of the Head of State.
Through a series of messages published in her account on the Twitter social network, @DrodriguezVen, the head of Foreign Affairs reported on the claims of a group of Governments belonging to the organization, in the Permanent Council session developed this Wednesday, to modify the Regulation of the meeting of foreign ministers in order to manipulate the number of votes and to approve the intervention of Venezuela. “They were defeated”, she said.
Finally, she qualified as illicit the action of the Secretary General of the OAS, and said that this attitude is destroying the body, “becoming a worldwide embarrassment.”
