COVID: Venezuela registered 64 new cases in the last 24 hours

A total of 64 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in the last 24 hours in Venezuela, of which three were imported from Panama (2) and the United Kingdom (1), bringing the confirmed accumulated total to 524,033 cases.

The community cases registered today are located in the states Miranda (16), Zulia (15), Mérida (13), Caracas (8), Yaracuy (4), Carabobo (3), La Guaira (1) and Bolívar (1).

This was announced this Wednesday by the sectoral vice president for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Freddy Ñáñez, during the usual daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through his account in the Twitter social network.

On day 815 since the pandemic arrived in Venezuela, the country records the figure of 5,722 as the total number of deaths, with no deceases in the last few hours. The number of recovered patients is 517,298 and there are 1,013 current active cases.
