The President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro, thanked on Saturday the presence of Presidents and Government Delegations from Latin America and the Caribbean, who participated in an international forum in honor of the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chavez.
He pointed out that there were many the ideas and feelings that were shared during the forum, «These are the true feelings of another America, of a power that has emerged from a long struggle against colonialism (…) all those centuries of struggle are summarized in a single name: Hugo Chavez Frías, the champion of the struggle for the truth, for justice, of the fight against imperialism and for a new human order», he said.
He also highlighted that the Venezuelan people is standing up, ready for new battles, to keep fighting for the true independence, «There have been three years of absolute loyalty, three years of love, three years of struggles, and Venezuela will continue the path of the Bolivarian Revolution» he said.
