More than a million entrepreneurs strengthen the Venezuelan economy

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, during a work day dedicated to entrepreneurship, reported that to date there are 1,387,261 entrepreneurs in the country.

The national dignitary pointed out that of this total, female participation stands out with 64% percent, as part of the important role that women play in entrepreneurship and the economic development of Venezuela.

By emphasizing that he has the reins of the country’s economy, he reiterated his commitment to the creation of a social economy that facilitates the lives of citizens and guarantees access to a wide variety of products, ratifying the entrepreneurs who have the support of the national industry, which is in the process of recovery.

During this activity, Nicolás Maduro reminded the people of the difficulties that the country faced during the shortages in the past, as a result of the evils caused by the surnames, highlighting the progress achieved thanks to working alongside the people:

We found it difficult, tough, but with patience, intelligence and a lot of work, innovation and creativity we got ahead and went from 85% percent shortages to 100% percent supply with national products. First time in a hundred years,” he explained.

With the statement: “This is the new Venezuela, the one that produces,” President Maduro emphasized the importance of maintaining peace as a basis for sustainable economic growth.

Maduro previously proposed the creation of “entrepreneurship cities (Expo Fairs)” throughout the country, specifically mentioning the possibility of converting the modern Plaza de la Juventud (Youth Square), in Caracas, to establish an Expo Fair.

This initiative seeks to promote innovation, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit in different locations, providing opportunities and support to entrepreneurs.
