President Maduro: TSJ enforced constitutionality during 2016

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, thanked the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) on Tuesday for the efforts made in 2016 to enforce the law, justice and constitutionality, in the face of threats that threatened the stability of the country.

“Strength is shown in the face of obstacles, and the Supreme Court of Justice has shown that it is a guarantor of peace, besides it has left clear signs of how to handle storms in future times,” he expressed from the headquarters of the TSJ in Caracas, after having heard the management report of the Judicial Branch corresponding to the year 2016.

He also stressed that it is necessary to comply with all the codes of the republic to protect the legally weak, while highlighting the wide transparency and responsiveness with which the TSJ gives results to the country.
