Cuba and Venezuela will work together on a joint economic development plan

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reported on Thursday night that Cuba’s Economic Development Plan and the Bolivarian Economic Agenda with its 15 engines will come together to advance in various projects that benefit both nations.
“We have decided to join the two plans, the 15 engines of Venezuela are ready to advance with specific projects in tourism, petrochemicals, mining, basic industries, strengthening Petrocaribe,” said the Head of State in a Council of Ministers from Miraflores Palace, with representatives of the Cuban people.
He stressed that the Cuba-Venezuela cooperation agreement that has been developed for 16 years, is an agreement “thought by two outstanding minds, Fidel and Chávez, who were two leaders with an infinite capacity of creation and left a pending agenda to keep working that must be put into practice “.
