La Guaira, Venezuela.- In a heartfelt tribute to the State security forces that participated in the rescue work in La Guaira state, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, assured that «we are going to recover the state of La Guaira, we are going to rebuild the state of La Guaira, the affected area of Caracas, Miranda, Aragua, Yaracuy, Falcón, Carabobo states»; since in her opinion the collective effort can be translated into concrete solutions for those affected families.
During her speech, the Head of State highlighted with deep admiration how, despite having suffered the loss of entire families during the catastrophe, the rescuers kept their uniforms high, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to the search and rescue of their compatriots in the most critical hours.
After recognizing the bravery demonstrated on the ground, the President made a call to transform that spiritual force into an engine for the country’s recovery: «I ask for that this spirit of this historic display, in order to overcome our pain, to be transformed now into the laborious hands of recovery and reconstruction,» said the National Dignitary.
Rodríguez paid tribute to the selflessness of the officials of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), the police forces and the country’s security agencies, who «with their uniform held high continued the search and rescue work.»
In every action, the National Government shows its willingness to work tirelessly to build better conditions for Venezuelans affected by the seismic tragedy.
