Due to the large number of opinion matrixes attacking the Bolivarian Government and its response to the national state of emergency generated on June 24th due to the two earthquakes that struck the country, the Vice President for Politics, Citizen Security, and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, rejected these accusations after qualifying them as unfounded. He emphasized that what the Venezuelan people has witnessed is a government committed to providing solutions for the affected people:
«All their narratives have fallen apart. We are now working to solve the problems faced by the families who lost their homes,» stated Cabello, who is also the Minister of People’s Power for Interior Relations, Justice, and Peace.
In this regard, the Vice President denounced that extremist sectors in the country are using media outlets to confuse the population and spread disinformation.
“While they are causing harm, we are focused on helping the people of Caracas, La Guaira, and any other place that has suffered the ravages of nature,” he emphasized.
In this sense, he explained that some malicious groups have created opinion matrixes against the country, contrasting them with the organization of the Bolivarian Government, which counts with an automated system that registers all humanitarian aid received and its distribution to camps for affected people.
“Faced with these perverse matrixes, what remains is the truth. We have detailed records of everything done so far: where it comes from, how it is distributed, who takes it, its destination, and who receives it,” he concluded.
