Heavy rains caused floods in Chabasquén, Portuguesa state, with 114 millilitres of rain water in eight hours.
About 100 families were affected and are receiving assistance from local authorities.
This emergency occurs while Venezuela is facing a state of emergency following the earthquakes of June 24.
The earthquakes caused 1,450 deaths and more than 3,000 injuries, affecting states such as Lara, La Guaira (disaster zone), and Carabobo.
