Bolivarian Government presented graphic identity of the Battle of Carabobo Bicentennial

  • 6 de abril de 2021

The Bolivarian Government presented this Monday, April 5, the graphic identity of the Bicentennial of the Battle of Carabobo, which will be celebrated on June 24, 2021.

From the Junín Theater in Caracas, the Minister of People’s Power for Communication and Information, Freddy Ñañez, showed and explained the country the cultural process of creating the logo by artist Kael Abello, who is also the author of the remembered logo of the Bicentennial of the Independence of Venezuela.

Major General Félix Osorio, president of the presidential commission for the celebration and commemoration of the 200 years of the Battle of Carabobo, explained the brilliant strategy that Liberator Simón Bolívar executed during the military and political campaign that led the patriots to obtain success and victory in Carabobo.

For his part, historian Pedro Calzadilla affirmed that there are five reasons why all Venezuelans should celebrate the Bicentennial of the Battle of Carabobo: the Bolivarian spirit of commemoration, the historical project of the republic of equals presented by Bolívar in Angostura, the unity and participation of all the social groups of the people and especially of women, the cultural identity and the triumph of the unitary project of the Liberator, which opened the doors to the south.

In the logo stand out the spears, the horse and our leader Simón Bolívar with his sword drawn.
