The Acting president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, reported feeling happy because at this time “the path with the United States has been an agenda of respect and cooperation within the framework of our sovereignty.”
Through a telephone contact made with the march that was held in Caracas to commemorate Youth Day, she said to have completed an inspection tour of the Petro Independencia Oil Production Unit, along with US Secretary of Energy, Christopher Wright.
“I salute the patriotic and Bolivarian youth who flooded the streets. We have just finished a very intense agenda, and I must confess that I felt very proud to be here today with the working youth of Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA), to be able to show the truth of Venezuela, that despite the criminal blockade has not surrendered and that there is a Venezuela that has built and worked with its own hands and effort (…) I felt very proud.”
In that regard, she explained that “I feel happy because the energy agenda, of which we have over a century and a half, can be brought forward within the framework of the international and Venezuelan laws.”
