During the inauguration of the new Nephrology Service at the University Hospital of Caracas, the Acting President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, reaffirmed the firm commitment of the National Government to channel differences with the United States administration through politics and diplomacy.
The Acting President detailed that, since last January 3, has been consolidated a work agenda, founded on direct communication with President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
In her declarations, Rodríguez highlighted the existence of channels based on respect and courtesy, emphasizing on that any divergence must be resolved between the authorities of sovereign and independent nations.
She took the opportunity of the meeting to denounce the disinformation campaigns promoted by transnational communication corporations. She assured that the truth about Venezuela prevails against attempts at defamation, reaffirming the absolute commitment of the Executive Branch’s to guaranteeing the stability and peace of the Republic on the international scenario.
