Throughout the route, culture took a starring role with parrandas, the beating of drums, and the active participation of dance groupes and live performances of traditional gaitas.
The event concluded with the traditional countdown that leads to the simultaneous illumination of the Warairarepano Cross and the LED lighting system throughout the monumental complex, which includes two decorative tunnels, the illumination of the monoliths and the central Christmas tree.
This event marks the formal start of the Christmas lighting season across the national territory this November 1st, leading the way to the emotional embrace among family and friends in a space for the popular enjoyment and gathering over the coming weeks.
