The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, led this Tuesday an inspection tour of the transitional housing development in Ciudad Caribia, where 400 housing units are being allocated to families who lost their homes following the double earthquake on June 24.
The infrastructures have each 36 square meters and include two bedrooms, a bathroom, and an integrated living, kitchen, and dining areas. They are equipped with fully operational basic services and completed road infrastructure, ensuring the restoration of daily routines and community life.
This initiative is part of the «Venezuela Renace» (Venezuela Reborn) Plan, which simultaneously addresses the reconstruction of properties and the temporary relocation of residents to suitable spaces.
During the visit to this sector that connects the Libertador municipality with the state of La Guaira, the Dignitary inspected the working of common areas, playgrounds, and services within the development. She was accompanied by the head of the transitional camps, Jorge Rodríguez; the Minister for Housing, Paola Posani; and the Sectoral Vice President for Social and Territorial Socialism, Héctor Rodríguez.
