In compliance with instructions issued by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and Commander-in-Chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Force (FANB), Delcy Rodríguez Gómez, and at the request of the National Electoral Council (CNE, the FANB has activated, through its Strategic Operational Command (CEOFANB), the deployment of more than 130,000 personnel from military branches and public security agencies across the entire national territory.
According to a video posted on the CEOFANB’s Instagram account, the operation includes integral logistical coverage via air, sea, and land for the custody of materials and the safeguarding of the facilities designated for the Second National Popular Consultation, a space designed to consolidate communal power and the direct democratic exercise from the grassroots.
During the start of the mobilization maneuvers, military authorities emphasized that the deployed personnel would safeguard the well-being of the Venezuelan people and the free exercise of the right to vote, ensuring peace and institutional stability throughout the electoral process.
